Love is…sharing the amazingness of your strawberries. But how could I not, with a face like that?
Here are my farmer’s market goods for my first week: carrots, zucchini, radishes, shell peas and sugar snap peas, pea greens, spring mix, sweet Italian sausage, and strawberries. Included in the dinner plans are a mix of sauteed zucchini, green pepper (leftover from other meals), and sweet sausage over pasta; a stir fry of sugar snap peas, zucchini, carrots, and green pepper over rice; and salads with all the rest of the lovely fixings. Pea greens make the most amazing salad, especially topped with strawberries. And the strawberries! I could eat them for three meals a day–and in fact, today, I have. 🙂
What a fine way to start my release from self-imposed hibernation!
