A (new?) New Years Tradition:
- Pork and sauerkraut (made with apples in the slow cooker)
- Mashed potatoes
- Applesauce (preferable homemade from hand-picked apples)
- Beer (East End’s cider is pictured here, “…and sat down be cider.” It’s a continuation of last year’s release, “Along came a cider…”)
- Nice dishes and possibly even candles
The pork was tender and flavorful, the sauerkraut a nice balance. The setting was lovely and the company, superb. Let’s do it again next year, shall we?
